 Q 1. What is CWS100 Concrete protection & Waterproofing system? 

A:  CWS100 is a spray-applied concrete waterproofing and concrete protection system designed to waterproof cured concrete and reduce water ingress. It penetrates the concrete surface and reacts within the concrete matrix to form a moisture-resistant crystalline/CSH-based structure.

CWS100 is suitable for terraces, podiums, parking decks, water tanks, swimming pools, STPs, planters, bridges and other concrete structures. 

2. How does CWS 100 Waterproof Concrete?

CWS100 is applied to the concrete surface using a low-pressure spray application. The material penetrates the concrete and reacts with components within the concrete to form a calcium silicate hydrate (CSH) gel structure.

This helps reduce capillary water penetration and provides long-term protection against water ingress.

 3. Is CWS100 a waterproofing membrane?  

No. CWS100 is not a conventional waterproofing membrane.

Unlike APP membranes, PVC membranes or other sheet membranes, CWS100 becomes an integral part of the concrete surface and does not create a separate membrane layer.

This eliminates many problems associated with membrane punctures, peeling, delamination and damage during subsequent work.

 4. Can CWS 100 be applied on existing or cured Concrete?

10. Does CWS100 Require a protective screed?

One of the advantages of CWS100 is that it does not require a conventional protective screed merely to protect a waterproofing membrane, because there is no separate sheet membrane.

11. How long does CWS100 waterproofing last?
